Routing Identifier Codes (RIC)

RIC Codes identify the transactions Source of Supply (SOS) vendor. A transaction may have more than one RIC assigned to identify the implementing agency, the item manager, or the depot where the material is released. The RIC is found in Record Positions 4-6. Below are examples of common RIC codes. For a complete list, visit the DIA website.
